SAGE, which stands for Studying and Advancing Global Eldercare, is a well-established and recognised aged care and retirement living study tour program that has welcomed Australian Executives' participation for the last 17 years. Over these past two decades SAGE Tours has built an enviable reputation as a world leader in the Aged care/seniors living industry Globally.
There is nothing else like it available to Aged Care and Retirement living providers in the Australiasia region. From small stand alone to large aged care services, SAGE study Tours offers innovative programs to executives working in the international seniors living sector. Judy Martin is the Executive Lead - SAGE International Program Director
She's the individual responsible for ensuring that industry tour participants get to see the best of the best Judy is well networked and connected internationally particularly through her positions as an inaugural Director of Commonwealth Association of Ageing and board Director (past Chair) of the Global Ageing Network. Judy says SAGE Tours is unique. She has been managing and hosting the tours since their inception 17years ago, has participated in over 40 trips to 15 countries and says SAGE has a wonderful reputation overseas among many international associations and aged care and retirement living providers. SAGE study tours is a recognised brand in the global seniors living, and seniors care arena. It is recognised for its high level programs, commitment to betterment of industry, and educational value for Executives in this industry. SAGE study tours commenced in 2006 as an initiative of ThomsonAdsett is a leading international architecture and design firm with studios throughout Australia and Asia. Their flexible design thinking is reflected across a range of sectors including seniors living where ThomsonAdsett are recognised as one of the world’s largest firms specialising in seniors living, and bring 30 years of local and global experience. A few years after inception the SAGE program became an alliance between ThomsonAdsett and the two key peak industry Associations for the Australian Aged Care industry. Aged & Community Services Australia (ACSA) and Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) These two peak Associations are now know as Aged and Community Care Providers Australia (ACCPA). SAGE also worked with Catholic Health Australian and the Retirement Village Association Australia to offer bespoke programs for their members
